It started with the drinks. My dirty martini was great. My husband asked for no ice, but it looked like extra ice! The French onion soup was delicious, but very small for the price. The wings weren't cooked all the way through, so we had them drop them again. Better the second time. Onto dinner. My main course was so yummy, stuffed haddock, rice pilaf, mixed veggies. The mixed veggies had baby carrots in it, not my favorite. My husband had the fisherman fried platter, no clams and it looked over cooked. Maybe they were upset we sent sent the wings back. Who knows.

I met up with three others for a great experience. Parking seemed complicated at first but that was due to the local popularity. If you like steak houses this is a on par spot. Sides listed on the menu for the main courses were very limited on choice, however, this might be by design in order to ensure prompt service to quickly feed the table. I highly recommend this place for meet ups or just grabbing a beer with coworkers.

JJ Grimsby is one of my favorite all American restaurants with a large variety of New England style food with seafood plates, steak, chicken, pork ribs and the absolute best clam chowder in the Boston area. The servers are amazing and always make your experience a memorable one! The place was just renovated a couple years back and the inside is set up perfectly with comfortable booths and a wrap around bar. They have the lottery and keno if that’s your thing. Plenty of parking with two huge parking lots. I highly recommend trying them out for a quality meal at a reasonable price!

Come here almost all the time came one night just 2 of us ordered the baked stuffed haddock and a salad. Salad comes out fine haddock comes out later waiter walks away. Fish was almost entirely uncooked completely inedible. Try to flag waitress down for at least 15-20 minutes because she never came to ask how the food was. She comes back and I apologize! For having raw food served to me, after I showed her it was uncooked she looks at me and goes “that sure isn’t, I’ll be back” leaves the plate comes back in 5 minutes quickly takes the plate to “show the cooks” Comes back and says the kitchen is closing keep in mind they don’t close for over an hour and a half! Then we have to ask if there’s anything they could do and she annoyed offers a chicken finger plate. 20 minutes later we’ve been here an hour now brings out a plate with 6 chicken tenders not even French fries and walks away. Never came back again didn’t ask if we wanted sauce or anything never asked if we needed another drink because she was too busy talking with staff at the front. As she walks by to talk to her friends at the bar I ask for the check with takes her another 10 minutes just to bring and charges us like $16.00 for the chicken finger plate. I mean I recommend this place but I didn’t get an apology or I’m sorry one time this lady should just not be in the service industry whoever you are older blond lady please just quit
